StaffAvi Ohring has been a Hoboken resident since 1986. He is a lifetime member of the Hoboken Historical Society where he has assisted on the Hoboken House Tour and the Hoboken Garden Tour more times than he can remember.
Patricia Samperi is a 14-year resident of Hoboken, and the 4th generation of her family to live in the Mile Square City. A volunteer with the Hoboken Historical Museum, Pat has interviewed Hoboken residents for the “Vanishing Hoboken” oral history project initiated by the Museum and the Friends of the Hoboken Public Library. The Museum edited two of these interviews into short texts, known as Chapbooks, and published them under the titles of 'A Nice Tavern' and 'We Were Downtown'. Pat is an accomplished writer and trainer who has won several awards for her work.
As editor of the Hoboken Historical Society newsletter, Melissa Abernathy posseses an encyclopedic knowledge of anything related to the city of Hoboken. She has been a resident of Hoboken for 21 years.
